Our award winning graduate programme will return in 2021
We are delighted that you are keen to bring your talents to the charity sector and look forward to reopening the gradunique programme in Autumn 2021 for successful applicants joining us in September 2022.
In the meantime please subscribe to the gradunique newsletter to be informed of future updates. We would also encourage you to explore the current vacancies and volunteering opportunities available within our organisations.
A truly unique graduate programme
For this fantastic programme with two leading charities, British Heart Foundation and Macmillan, we seek outstanding, talented and ambitious recent graduates.
This unique programme provides a variety of hands-on projects and real responsibility. Every day will include new learning experiences that challenge and stretch our graduate.
The programme is formed of two twelve-month placements: one at Macmillan Cancer Support and one at The British Heart Foundation. Graduates work in a variety of teams across each organisation, including areas such as Income Generation, Campaigning and Health Care, Business Strategy and Support Services. The work is varied, and includes a range of short- and long-term projects; taking ownership on some, providing vital support on others.
Throughout your time with both organisations you’ll be fully supported with a clear development programme of training and learning opportunities.
Meet our incredible graduates

I was attracted to the scheme because it would give me the chance to be involved in different areas of work and gain a greater understanding where my skills and interests are particularly suited.
Rani Govender, BHF

I was attracted to the programme by the friendly process which focused on getting the best from the graduates. This was confirmed to me during the application process and put me at ease.
Bethany Peryer, Macmillan

Gradunique’s main interest is developing you as a graduate and arming you with the skills for a successful career within the charity sector. Safe to say I feel very honoured to have been offered the job!
